I am creating a skin for the forums module so that it better suits the DNN skin I am using.  I have a couple questions about where in the CSS file certain colors are set and would appreciate any help you could offer.

Which portions of the CSS control the background color of the Add/Edit Post screen?  I am more interested in changing the background color of the different sections, not the area where you actually type what you want to post.  I assume that that is a built in control that is not controlled by the CSS.

Also, when viewing a post, the pulldown containing the sort order is not following the style of my portal, whereas the Flat View/Tree View pulldown is.  Is the Sort pulldown controlled within the forums CSS, and if so, where?

Those appear to be the only sections that I am having trouble finding in the CSS.  If you could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I want to clarify that these are 'themes' and not skins.  It may sound a bit minor but we don't want people to think they can overhaul the location of controls like skinning does.

There are definately some inconsistancies in that version, these are the things we are attempting to change right now.  With your textboxes, some of them are using NormalTextBox, picked up from your skin or portal.css and that is why they look the same.  The others are using Forum_Normal.

The Forum_PostEdit.ascx is one of the rare ascx's you can use to find items yourself w/out digging in code.  Most of the background on this page is actually using the Forum_Row class.

A major goal for the next release is more control via css and just better html structure in the module for a more please view no matter what skin you use.  This means more css classes, very little hard coded styles/attributes, and cross browser compatability in Safari, IE, Firefox.

Can someone  point me to some documentation regarding Forum Themes? Or do I just reverse engineer the html and css?
