How can I make my home page show the top 5 forum topics that are displayed in my forum that is on a different page (based on views + replies + date)?

This is not an option available.  The ability to make this a seperate module would be pretty simple though.  It isn't that we are against it, it would just be another module that we would have to keep up and I don't feel comfortable adding anythign else at this time.

You can post the most recent threads from a specific forum by using an RSS module. Bring2Mind's RSSXtra module is able to be tweaked into a reasonable facsimile of this missed feature.

The alternative is to use that ActiveForums module. It costs 50 bucks or so, but has a highly productive developer and includes the top posts module you want.

I have another question:

-Well since we cannot have a separate forum that will display top 5 forum topics, what about having another forum that will be displaying just the lastest 5 forum topics?
