I installed the latest forum (Forum_3.10.04) on my dotnetnuke site (latest version 3.2), the install was successful, but when I click on a specific forum (such as Discussion\General), it alwasy shows me an error message, conflict with foreign key 'FK_Forum_ThreadsRead_Forum_Users'..., column "UserID" in "Forum_users".. sth like that, I checked the forum_users table, no any record in it.

Is it a bug? or sth wrong with my installation?

Thanks.

I am having similar problem.

<quote>

A critical error has occurred.
INSERT statement conflicted with COLUMN FOREIGN KEY constraint 'FK_Forum_ThreadsRead_Forum_Users'. The conflict occurred in database 'MY_DNN_DB', table 'Forum_Users', column 'UserID'. insert The statement has been terminated.

Any information or prescriptive guidance to follow in this situation?

okay... searched around other discussions in the forum, and found:

which seems to have corrected the issue.

If you look at the existing thread(s) in this forum on the issue, you will see that the problem is well-known and being worked on. In fact, according to Gemini it seems that the problem is well on its way to being fixed and a number of other changes are being checked in, so with any luck we will see a new version that not only works but also adds new features quite soon.

In the meanwhile, it seems you can either wait or use the workaround posted in the other thread.
