When using the [[name]]-syntax all works fine when using ASCII-characters inlcuding named HTML-characters like   ä &Auml and others.

But when the name to be indexed as a wiki page includes characters written like ě = 'ě'  then the following happens.

The reference is written correctly like in this example (sample page: http://franz.fiala.cc/Chronik/tabid/6228/Default.aspx):

Familie Pohan (Bartholoměj/Bartholomäus)

But the name of the page created after editing stays empty (Example: http://franz.fiala.cc/Chronik/tabid/6228/Default.aspx?topic=Familie%20Pohan%20(Bartholoměj--47-Bartholom--38-auml;us)) because the page name changes to

Familie Pohan (BartholomÄ›j/Bartholomäus)

You can see that the named HTML character 'ä' is OK but the character 'ě' which is using the numbered representation ě is distorted. This new name is also listed in the index.

After editing this new page name becomes to

Familie Pohan (BartholomÄ›j/Bartholomäus)

and so on...

In the present state 4.0.0 of the wiki module page names cannot be used when using special characters.

Maybe there is another HTML-Syntax which alows these characters to be included?

Thank you, Franz
