Hey:

I don't see any information anywhere that states if this module works w/4.x.  Should I assume that all sub-projects of DNN here are being used/tested with 3.x and 4.x?

Perhaps a stupid question, but...thanks for the answer in advance anyway!

I believe it works in 4.0 minus this one bug which has already been fixed and checked in, just not in a public release yet.

Hey Chris:

I've found two issues, one of which is reported here.  Whenever you hit 'save' on *any* page, you get the desktopdefault.aspx error from DNN2.  So this happens *everytime* a page is saved and I know of no workaround.

The other error is much more of a show-stopper.  Once you create a wiki link (like [[wikipage]], and click on that link, you can type in some stuff.  However, you have to hit Save to save it, right?  Well, as soon as you do this, you get the error above, of course.  So you hit the back button until you get to a page that manages to display the wiki page, instead of post issues.  ONCE YOU'VE SAVED THE PAGE and want to click on that page again, you receive an error.  That page is now gone.  So essentially, one cannot create more than one page for the whole wiki...because as soon as you try to save another page, when you click on the link for that page, you get this error:

Server Error in '/DNNC2L' Application.

The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /DNNC2L/DesktopDefault.aspx

So the upshot is, one cannot use this wiki 'tall.  So unfortunately, I've removed it from my module list.  I'll have to find something else until these basic 'show stoppers' can be made public.

Using 4.0.3, IE6 (or Firefox 1.5)...

Have you tried the fix that I noted for copying default.aspx and making a desktopdefault.aspx file in the root of the DNN folder?

Hey Chris:

Sorry, I don't see where this fix is explained.  Is it in one of the forum threads?  If so, which one?  I don't see any fix, but would love to try it.
