We're want to add a wiki to our site for internal use only.
Because this wiki can become quite large and we want some structure in it I have two questions:

  • Can we divide the wiki in categories?
  • Can we make the wiki multilingual?

Thanks in advance!

You can divide the Wiki up in a number of ways, it's a wiki ;)

I would create a first page with a list of Categories, then from each of the category pages add your content.

The same goes for multilanguage, though linking between two versions of an entry, english or spanish for example, would be a manual process.

i got exited for a bit when I read this post, but I now realize you're not talking about an organizational "Category" in the MediaWiki/Wikipedia usage.

Is this under consideration for your 1Q 2010 release?   I checked the forge section on this module but the dropdown under Enhancements doesn't actually display any content.  Don't know if it's glitched, or if there just haven't been any suggestions (knowing this community I find that hard to believe).

I'm hesistent to add much content to my wiki without understanding how to organize it better, or being aware that it could be organized better down the road w/ future releases.

Thanks,
