Using DNN 6.01 and Wiki 4.5.0


The Home page does not have an "Edit" option so the home page remains blank.

I tried to create a Wiki Topic called Home, but that did not work.

However, if you add : /tabid/###/topic/Home/loc/edit/Default.aspx to the address bar, you can edit the topic there... and then the edit button appears again.

e.g.: 

http://mydomain.org/WikiPageName/tabid/###/topic/Home/loc/edit/Default.aspx

I asked the same thing in a different thread... this is the response I got:

click Add Wiki Topic and create a temporary page (or edit a page already created)
add a link to the Home page by entering [[WikiHomePage]]
click Save
then click the WikiHomePage link just created and you are taken to the Home page (you now have an Edit Wiki Topic link)
click the Edit Wiki Topic, make an edit and Save
this will then give you the Edit Wiki Topic link on the Home page permanently
delete the temporary page or link

Using this link (edit where necessary) will give you the option to edit the Home page on the Wiki. When there is a topic on the home page you'll be provided an option near the bottom of the page that will allow you to edit the topic at anytime.

I added a comment to the issue on Codeplex, see the comment for a quick fix if you can/want to recompile the module
