OK, there are two items I have not been able to figure out in the wiki module:

  1. How to edit the Home page.  I have added many pages to the wiki, but the home page is blank.

  2. How to add a picture to a page that is in the gallery.

Hi Angel,

As to 1, this is a bug that can be resolved as follows:
  • click Add Wiki Topic and create a temporary page (or edit a page already created)
  • add a link to the Home page by entering [[WikiHomePage]]
  • click Save
  • then click the WikiHomePage link just created and you are taken to the Home page (you now have an Edit Wiki Topic link)
  • click the Edit Wiki Topic, make an edit and Save
  • this will then give you the Edit Wiki Topic link on the Home page permanently
  • delete the temporary page or link
As to 2:
  • In Edit, click the Image Manager icon on the toolbar
  • Select the image you want to add
  • Click Insert
Hope that helps!

#1 - Worked great, thanks!

#2 - There is no Image Manager icon on the toolbar.  There is an Insert Media button, which has Insert Media, Document manager, Flash Manager, Media Manager and Image Map Editor.  Insert Media then takes me to an Image Manager, but it does not show the images that are in the gallery.  It only shows the site images, sample files that came with DNN and the images that I have uploaded through the forums.

Gallery I am using:
DotNetNuke® Gallery

Hi Angel,

#1. Great, that one sorted!

#2. Try synchronizing the files. Go to Admin > File Manager, tick Recursive and then click Synchronize Files and see if this produces any extra folders/files.

Also, assuming you are using DNN 6, you can add the Image Manager icon to your editor toolbar via the Host > HTML Editor Manager.

Synchronizing the files did it, thanks.
