I installed and have used the Ktomics module since the anouncement that it would be used as the basis of the new DNN wiki. Based on my experiences I suggest the following changes to the comment section.
  • When clicking "Add comment" the Comments section colapses and needs to be reexpanded to add the comment. (both in Firefox 2.0 and IE 7).
  • Comments are limited in length this should be mentioned to the user in the interface. (AND/OR) allow much longer comments
  • Need to be able to edit/delete a comment.
  • Comments could be attached to a specific version of the wiki document.
  • The comments section should be expanded by default
Perhaps a broader question would be why have comments at all? Should't folks be adding those directly into the wiki document itself? (I suppors one use case to argue for having comments would be for folks who do not have write privledges to the wiki itself. But it is not clear from the configuration - and I have not tested - if this is supported.)
