Hi,

I have a table of materials with two fields: key and description. I want the user to lookup the material descriptions when he's adding materials to an order form. But what I actually need is the material key and not it's description. I successfully managed to configure dnntextsuggest to lookup the descriptions but I don't know how to get the key once a material is selected. How can this be done? Can I use dnntextsuggest? Or must I use a third-party control? Suggestions?

A valid alternative would be to use a popup window instead of AJAX but I also don't know where to start to learn how to build this.

Can anyone give me some clues?

Thank you,
Nuno

The DNNTextSuggest control can do this, by specifying an ID Token.  To see how this works look at the sample here
