I've sen a fair few of these errors, and just now I noticed a stack of them all together.. about ten in a row and then two hours later another ten or so in a row.

I can see both DNNMenu and SolpartActions listed in there and so I decided to post it in this forum in case this is actually an issue to be concerned with.

Any comments are appreciated.

If I had to guess, I'd say the useragent being passed in from the browser is invalid.  I suppose the code could trap for this better.
I'd be interested if you could find out exactly what useragent is being passed (I see the posting simply saying Mozilla, I am not sure if this is the entire string or not).

Hi Jon,

Yep, that was the compete string as copied out of the log... only "Mozilla" as the agent and no specific referrer. I've just had a good look through the logs today and can't see any repititions of that particular error. I'll report back if they start up again and if there is any variation or additional detail.

Today's error of choice seems to be:

"InnerException: Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster.
FileName: "

I get that one every day, and a lot of them today.... but it only ever happens on the page where Active Forums resides, never on other pages. I dont know what actually happens.. whether it causes an error to the visitor, but I think it probably does. I'm not even sure which forum to post that in for advice.
