Hi guys,

I created a DNNTextSuggest control in a plain page.  Normally, it can show  the matched value in ONE LINE for the list of the suggestion text. (i.e.  Administrator Account)

However, if I put the control into a table cell of HTMLtable, the value of the suggestion text will be split into 2 LINES.

Administrator

Account

How can I fix it?

In addition, how can I do a wild search for the list of the suggestion text.  It seems only show the matched prefix.

Thanks,

JY

To prevent wrapping, simply use css for the menu items (white-space:nowrap).

The textsuggest control only does prefixed matches as it would be hard to come up with an efficient lookup otherwise.

Thanks, Jon.

I got the answer.  I replaced HTML cell with ASP .net TableCell Control. So the WRAP attribute can be set to be false and the suggestion text can be shown in ONE line.

If the control can do wild search, it would be a fantastic feature.

You can find a solution for the "wild search" here: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forums/for...

Gino.
