Sorry Jon - not trying to confuse you - yes the client variables seem to work but I was trying to confirm that Firefox was having a problem which i still think it is - this seemed to be a seperate issue from trying to understand what the code should be like this thread - I have the code working but Firefox is still giving me an error (as I mentioned and have detailed on the other thread both you and I listed)
