Hi,

I installed the portuguese language pack.

All the emails set to the users have strange characters instead of the portuguese special characters.

I tried to edit the resources file and replace characters with the safe html escape characters like á "& aacute ;" but when I do this it starts sending the emails in english.

It's probably related to the codepage used to send the emails but I don't have a clue on how this can be configured.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks,
Nuno

Hi,

I use version 4.05.03.

In web.config Globalization section the encoding was set to UTF-8. But the culture was en-US. I changed it to pt-PT but the problem remains. I also tried ISO-8859-1 but nothing changed.

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Nuno
