hi,
i grabbed the german language pack from http://dotnetnuke.gamma-concept.de/Default.aspx?tabid=113
i am using DotNetNuke Version:
3.2.2.
i uploaded the language pack as "host". there where no errors in the list. if i verify the languages it will get these:

Verify Resource Files  Cancel

  Locale:  English (en-US)

  Locale:  Deutsch (de-DE)

  Files With Missing Entries: 1
\desktopmodules\UserDefinedTable\App_LocalResources\ManageUserDefinedTable.ascx.de-DE.resx
  Files With Obsolete Entries: 3
\desktopmodules\UserDefinedTable\App_LocalResources\EditUserDefinedTable.ascx.de-DE.resx
\desktopmodules\UserDefinedTable\App_LocalResources\ManageUserDefinedTable.ascx.de-DE.resx
\desktopmodules\UserDefinedTable\App_LocalResources\UserDefinedTable.ascx.de-DE.resx

The language of the iconbar doesn't change too.

I have this in my App_GlobalResources\Locales.xml (there is no App_GlobalResources/Languages.xml  as explained on the link i posted above):
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<root>
  <language name="English" key="en-US" fallback="" />
  <language name="Deutsch" key="de-DE" fallback="en-US" />
</root>

Whats wrong with it?
thanks, tob

Tob,

Goto http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?tabid=878 and download the language pack for the User Defined Table module and install that to your system.

STOP!

Our German Language packs come with localization for UserDefinedTable (UDT) 3.2.0, so download and install UDT 3.2.0.

The translation for default ControlCenters are included, I can see it on my local sytem - but if you use any 3rd party module for this, you will need to add translation yourself (if localizable). Another reason could be a caching issue, so try to restart your web site.

Cheers from Germany,
