Hello Max,

Maybe you should try disabling the following options under the Host-Languages menu:

  • Enable browser language detection
  • Enable language parameter in URLs

And verify that the following options are also disabled under the Admin-Languages menu:

  • Enable browser language detection for current portal
  • Enable language parameter in URLs for current portal

Then ensure that you have set English as your Portal's default language (Admin - Site Settings - Advanced Settings - Other Settings - Default Language).

If you have the time to investigate the different effects of changing each setting, please post your results.

HTH.

Saludos,

Alejandro.

Hello, I finally found it :)

I tried to disabled all the things Alejandro told me, but nothing worked... I was still entering in french.

I use DSLocalizator to localise my DNN. In DsLocalizator -> General Option, you have a box with the Locale Detection Order. I found that deleting GEOIP solved my problem... I still don't know why, because I live in Vancouver Canada (english only) and the server is in USA (webhost4life)...

So if somebody can explain to me the reason ... you're welcome! But everything work now!

Thanks,
Maks

Hey, the red text helped me. My portal displays in my prefered language. Thanks Alejandro.

But how to enforce DNN to display my native language also in SuperUser mode -> when I am logged in as SuperUser DNN still displays in english - I want it to display in my native language.

Anybody can help?

Regards rypki
