Hello,

apologies if this has been already covered in a previous post.

I am looking for a way to localize the text that appears in the validation summary of a module I am building. Pretty basic stuff really, I have a textbox, an asp RequiredFieldValidator and a ValidationSummary control. I would like the text of the validator to be something different then the text of the validation summary. I read up the localization documentation and it mentions marking the control with the resourcekey tag and using the .ErrorMessage property in the resource file. However when I do this the message is not displayed (it works fine when I just set ErrorMessage directly on the control, but not the resource file). Has anyone come across this? Or can someone give me a tip about how to approach this problem?

Thanks in advance.

M
