Chris,

if you are going to create new language packs for modules, providers or core, use "System" option.

Host and Admin oprion (Language editor in Admin menu) are used to customize installed LPs for local use in a single or all portals of your installation.

Hi Sebastian,

thank you for your answer.

So the Admin option is to configure the actual lp while the host option costumizes all installed portals.

Which information is priorized, if there are different information?

System Data is overridden by Host modifications, which is overridden by admin modifications for a single portal.

Since host and admin modifcations are stored in separate files, they don't get overwritten during system language updates.
