Hi, I am developing a site in swedish using DNN 4.9.1. I have installed swedish language pack and set the default language as Swedish for the site.

Also i have developed some modules in Swedish text. But while viewing the uploaded module in site, the Swedish text are not displayed properly.

How could I get this?

Hi,

Here are some possibilities:

- your login account has a default language set to something other than swedish -- is the problem occuring when accessing the site anonymously?
- you may have a language cookie that is setting the dnn language -- try with another browser or after restarting the browser / clearing cookies

You could try adding ?language=<language code for your swedish language pack> to the url (such as mysite/Default.aspx?language=fr-CA) and see if the language is applied.

Hi, i restarted the browser, cleared cookies

also added language code in URL like - mywebsite/test/tabid/175/Default.aspx?language=sv-SE( by default it is mywebsite/test/tabid/175/language/sv-SE/Default.aspx)

 Also then the text doesnt appear in Swedish. The text which i give in Text/HTML modules are in Swedish language, only the text in User created module are not displayed in Swedish. Am i missing any thing? please suggest some solutions.

- When you are referring to "user created module", are they modules you have created yourself, with Visual Studio?
- When you are saying "the text in User created module", are you referring to dynamic content configured for the module or to static texts in the modules, implemented following the module localization guide and using resx files?

Are the resx files for the module present on the server for those "user created modules" ?

Nisha,

To fully understand your problem please tell also what language settings your database have and your language settings in your web.config.

Dont hesitate to take contact with local experts if you work for Swedish customers.
