I've recently enabled an extra couple of languages on my system, but have found it's causing too many problems and I want to disable and remove them again. However they refuse to be deleted.. the page reports "You cannot delete or disable the last enabled language."

What's the secret for deleting a language?

Rob

Rob,

  1. which DNN version?
  2. make sure, the language is not used as portal default and there is another language still enabled for each portal before trying to disable and remove it.

Hi Sebastian,

DNN 4.9.2, now upgraded to 4.9.3.

All portals are only using en-US as the default and the two additonal languages are disabled everywhere. The error message seems to be misleading... it certainly isn't correct.

Is everyone else able to delete languages from portals? I'm also wondering if there's somewhere in the db or file system where I can make the extra languages go away?

Rob

So can everyone else delete languages successfully?

I just added and deleted a language in my DNN 4.9.3 test portal without issues. There must be sth having placed a reference to it.
