Hello

I downloaded a language pack (Malyalam, IN) off the  dotnetnuke website today and installed it on my dnn site. Now my website won't load and it seems like it is going into an redirect loop. This happened immediately after installing the language pack. Does anyone know what went wrong?

Thanks

Yoshi

There might be an XML issue in one of the language files, you will need to validate all the files to identify it.

Which DNN version are you running? latest version 4.9.x include better support for malformed files.

please report back issues found, so we might correct the package.

Hi Sebastian

I am running version 4.8. Where can I find the xml files to validate? I need to get my site back asap.

Thanks for your help.

language files are all files *.ml-IN.resx in various App_LocalResources folders.

Easiest would be to restore backup of all files of your site

Hi Sebastien

Is there anyway I can uninstall the language pack? I had no intention of using the language pack in my site, i thought i'd give it a go and see what the language pack does.

thanks

Yoshi
