the menu and the link module is smart enough to link to a page properly.  if user is set to US english, the URL will be http://testing.com/testingpage/tabid/75/language/en-US/Default.aspx (en-US in the URL).  If a user is set to Canadian english, the URL will be http://testing.com/testingpage/tabid/75/language/en-CA/Default.aspx (en-CA in the URL)

However, my problem is...

When I use the html text module, it is not smart enough to do the above,  Instead, it creates a hyperlink http://testing.com/testingpage/tabid/75/language/en-CA/Default.aspx  which ALWAYS link to canadian english even if the user sets to US english.

Where is the link created? when switching to edit or when adding a link to a different page in the site (using inser link button and "browse server")?

Yes, I understand.  I did create the link by using the "browse server".

However, when creating the link this way, it creates a URL with the "eng-CA" which means it will always take the user to the page with Canadian English eventhough the user may be set to U.S. English (or maybe germany, or arabic, or whatever)

So my question is... should I just leave out the "language/en-CA" in the  "http://example.com/examplepage/tabid/57/language/en-CA/Default.aspx"

Will "http://example.com/examplepage/tabid/57/Default.aspx" work??
