very strange, I have never experienced fallback issues in DNN 4. if there are no resource keys for a langauge, fallback resource should be used, which works fine for all my DNN 4 installations. What is the default language in your portal (specified in Site Settings)?

 Hi,

the defaul settings is Italian

Other strange behaviour, there are no resource file for the other languages, but only timezone.xx-yy.xml....

Today I've tried to add another language but there are no GlobalResources and SharedRsources file for that languages, but only TimeZone Files.....

..how can i solve? I've to open 7 languages on my  portal

Regards

Enzo

Enzo, if you "add" a language, you may select it in language selector skin object and language editor to create translations. If you want to show up all static elements to show up, you need either translate yourself or install language packs for the core framework and installed modules.
