Hi, my site was recenlty upgraded to DNN 5.2.3 by PowerDNN. I am running the Portal with the default language en-GB (mainly for date format). After the upgrade a lot of modules were missing control elements. I checked the Resource File verifier and it listed 440 Missing Resource Files for the Locale en-GB. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

to run en-GB, no resource files are necessary because as fallback will be used default en-US. Which controls are missing, are there any errors reported?

Hi Sebastian, many thanks for the quick response. There was no fallback language set for en-GB and once I set this to en-US everyhting started working. Thanks again for the help.

I have a quick follow up question if you don't mind. If I disable en-US (by un-checking the enable box) on the Portal will the fallback for controls from en-GB to en-US still work?

Donal, yes, fallback will work, even if fallback language is disabled.

Hi, I've a similar issues, my portal has two languages Ita and Eng, in the App_GlobalResources dir My Default Language is IT I've enabled only IT-IT and EN-GB In Locale.XML I've In the App_GlobalResources Dir I have: - GlobalResources.it-IT.resx - GlobalResources.resx - SharedResources.it-IT.resx - SharedResources.resx - ResourceMyPortal.en-GB.resx - ResourceMyPortal.resx Now The ResourceMyPortal are used well, so ResourceMyPortal for Italian and ResourceMyPortal.en-GB for English., but All the other things (login, terms and conditions, .....) are displayed only in Italian, like that the fallback en-us is missing. Maybe is the same behaviour becuase for Italian I can use ResourceMyPortal without the it-IT, while I've to use the en-GB extension for English I've tryed to rename the file in - GlobalResources.resx ----> GlobalResources.en-GB.resx - SharedResources.resx -----> SharedResources.en-GB.resx But itworks well for Terms and Coditions, but it doesn't works for Login Regards enzo
