I've recently added a new language to my DNN 05.01.04 (3) installation. The language added was "English (Trinidad and Tobago)" the culture code is "en-TT"

I created this language pack using the tutorial at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Development/Forge/ModuleReports/tabid/970/EntryId/55/DotNetNuke-Language-Pack-Creation-2.aspx and the en-GB language pack available at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/CoreLocalization/LanguagePacks/tabid/933/Default.aspx.

I've set the culture name as "English (Trinidad and Tobago)" however DNN keeps displaying it as "English (Trinidad Y Tobago)". I've checked all the resource files and the DNN database and even performed an instring search for "Trinidad Y Tobago" in the website root ... nothing.

My site is based in Trinidad so it will look very silly to display the country name in Spanish. Please Help.

language names are derived from Windows (via .Net Framework), AFAIK there is no option in DNN 5 to alter it.

Maybe in future versions there would be a way to override the names provided by .NET or an option to use either the .NET names or custom names.

I know that most foreigners group caribbean countries with Latin America when actually only a few caribbean countries speak Spanish. Some speak French, Dutch and English.

Finally if I wanted to edit the DNN source to use culture names of my own what files should I be looking at?

there are articles on MSDN, how to add your own cultures to your .net installations.
