Hi,

I'm looking for a way to override the resx values such that my overrides will not be lost on a version upgrade of DNN - is there a naming convention for portal resx files that get preference (like the css class cascade type of approach)?

An example would be the wording in the new feedback module is in resx files, and I wish to override them without having to redo this on each upgrade - or do I need to scrip the changes to apply each time?

thanks

Darren

use the language editor in Admin menu. Use either host mode, to affect all portals or portal mode, for current portal only. Do not use system mode, this is for creators of language packs. it will modify original file and overwritten on upgrades.

thanks Sebastian, I had just figured out the portal-0 and HOST files but did not realise that the system created these with those options - most useful and appreciate the rapid response.

many thanks
