this error has been reported before as well and should be fixed in DNN 5.6.0

we did some tests and when we set all modules (from moduledefinition LiveImage and DigFlash) to AllTabs =0 the problem solved itself.
I think this is something caused by the localization.

Hi Stephany

Im glad to have found this thread. I was wondering if you can help me with the Enable Localized Content window. The progress bar seems to just stay on
  • Total Progress 8% (0 ) Total Languages 3
  • Progress 24% (16) Total Pages 65

I was suspecting it may be similar your issue. But I could not find where to enter your AllTabs=0
and I dont have access to web.config..
I appreciate your help!

allTabs is a field within modules (or tabmodules) table in the database. Please be very careful before enabling content localization, this is a very new feature and cannot be reverted.

Hi,
Confirm that this is an issue in DNN and can be resolved by changing the web.config. In the event log timeouts are logged and the solution by Stephany works. (Do not forget to change it back).

If you do not have access to the web.config --> in host --> Configuration manager you can add executionTimeout="3600" yourself.

J.
