Thanks Sebastian!

FYI since my last posting, I've since found another forum posting explaining how to enable the for "Content Localization." and have successfully enabled and installed it on my test site.

So far, the built-in functionality of DNN 5.5 *seems* to be providing the basics I need (including page-level translations). That said, this is just on a test site, and so perhaps I just haven't run into some of the "real life" issues that folks on a production site will notice.

Regarding those three 3rd-party apps: Is it documented anywhere what functionality they provide that's missing from ver 5.5.x? I've reviewed those apps' sites briefly, and don't see what they're providing that's missing from the current DNN.

it depends on your needs, whether the features of localized pages in DNN 5.5+ meet your requirements. you should still be careful, some users reported vanished modules and pages, if you don't adhere to default translation workflow.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
