Hi,

I created a language pack in dnn 5.4.1 and when Itry to install it in 5.6.0 this error comes up:

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I created it as FULL, since that's the one I figured that exported EVERYTHING. I've no idea what the difference is between the options, so please can u guys explain to me the difference between: CORE, MODULE, PROVIDER, AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM AND FULL ????

there is a known error installing full language packs in DNN 5, which might get fixed in a future version.

Ok and how should I proceed to installing a pack without having to translate EVERYTHING again?

also... what about my other cuestion about the difference between core, system, etc. I tried exporting core and installed correctly, but it didn't translate anything I did manually in the other site.

you can either create language pack for the core framework (DNN itself) and all extensions (modules, skins, providers etc) one by one or simply use core and zip all files with proper extenisons and unzip to the target system before installing core language pack.
