Can anybody tell me what is the right way to use localization together with "display module on all pages"?

Here is what I did:
  1. add whole content default language (German)
(there is 1 module displayed on all pages)
  2. enable localization
  3. translate content in other language (English)

Now I always get a new instance of the module that is displayed on all pages and I have both versions on the page in English.

Could anybody reproduce this? Do I have to "detach" this module before click "Ready for Translation" or what is the right way?

there are known issues when using this feature together with content localization. besides, you should stand away from using "set as default" in module settings!!!!

O.K. thanks. I guess "display module on all pages" is used regularly by many users. I wrote it here because I couldn't find this issue @ Gemini and I was not sure if it's a bug or my fault. Could send me the link so I can see when it is planned to fix this?

PS: I never used the "set as default" feature.. wished sometimes (when customers used it) this checkbox would be as hidden as the "Ready for Translation" button ;-)

DNN-12174 and DNN-13638, which should be fixed in 5.6.0. I am not sure, if every issue is logged already.
