Hi,
please can someone advice which one from alternative HTML/Text editors available for use with dnn can be localized completely?

I tried RadEditor recently, but there are many strings, which can’t be localized, even entire dialogs (I mean core and dnnWerk providers).

since dnnWerk RadEditor provider and ckEditor 3 provider both are from German native developers, I hardly believe, they are not fully localizable. However, localization of the editor itself (not the integration with DNN) might not follow DNN localization schema.

Hi Sebastian,
the dnnWerk editor provider has problem with Style Builder dialog. It is displayed without label strings. Second, this provider doesn’t switch language dynamically by clicking flag on the language selector. Yet this provider is my favorite exactly for the reason you mentioned about.
Because editor localization is not a small task I am first asking for opinion. I am giving a thought to give a try with CKEditor provider. Is this provider able to switch language dynamically? I mean: click the flag on language selector will change static strings as appropriate. Thanks.

I might need to check the stylebuilder dialog. Switching the language should be controlled by the framework, not the editor, therefore I don't understand, how editors might get it wrong. Please log issues with dnnWerk editor into the tracker at radeditor.codeplex.com, thank you.

Hi,
I voted for style builder dialog issue and logged language switching problem with dnnWerk provider yesterday. I found the cause of this problem in EditorProvider.vb source file.

The core editor provider has similar problem as described here: DNN-15195
