Have set up localization using CA-english and CA-french language sets.

The default is CA-English

Have set the default page in both streams in appropriately..page is published/translated et al.

Permissions are set for public view on both localization sets for the required page(s)

Switching while logged in a SuperUser works accordingly..no issues.

However, when logged out and presented with english default homey (no issues there) and then trying to switch to french version I get a fatal error...albeit in FRENCH, so somethings working, ha..

RESOLVED

Changed RibbonBar to IconBar in Control Panel settings

HOST> HOST SETTINGS >OTHER SETTINGS>Control Panel

I would prefer the RibbonBar..but so be it..I will leave the reason for the discrepancy to higher powers..what the control panel has to do with public view, I am not sure.

 Cheers

you may try free Advanced Control Panel from www.oliverhine.com, which allows switching UI language as well and provides all features for Ribbon Bar (and even more).

Hi Barry,

It's like you are missing one of this keys, //Admin.String or //Host.String , in your global Resource file.

Or maybe your fallback language is bad for one of your languages ???
