Hi,

I have a site that requires 3 languages (English French and Spanish) and I'm not sure how to go about implementing this. Do I have to create 3 different versions for each page and provide the translations or is there a way to send all 3 languages to the same page and show the proper content based on the selected language?

Thanks

DNN includes a feature called Language specific pages, you might enable in Host Settings and Admin > languages for your site. this will create copies of all pages and modules for you.
If you prefer multilingual content within the modules you need to install a 3rd party page localization solution like apollo PageLocalization (http://pagelocalization.codeplex.com/) and use multilingual modules like Nuntio Content (http://nuntiocontent.codeplex.com/).

Hi Sebastian,

Is this feature in DNN 6.2 Community edition? I don't see it. I've added the three language packs which only displays the 3 flags on my admin pages but I don't have the option of switching languages on any of the pages I create.

Thanks for your help.

you need to enable "Content Localization" in Host Settings first (at the very end).
Next you may convert your website into a multilingual website in Admin > Languages.
Make sure to start with a backup of the database.

OK, I set all of that up and it seemed to have created my pages. If I change the url parameter to fr-CA and try to edit that text...the French text appears on the english side as well. Am I doing this right?

I'm under the assumption that if I'm on the french side (fr-CA) and edit that text, it will only show on the french side and same for English and Spanish. Also, I don't have the flags for these countries in my application...just on the admin side. It would be nice to use these flags on my application to switch languages on the site.

Thanks
