Dear Shaun, Peter,

We are using DNN (CE but converting to PE soon) as a SAAS solution offering Spend, Contract and Vendor Management. We support dozens of international, high profile, companies (f.e. BASF, Leaseplan, Boskalis, several Hospitals and Universities)  with our single DNN installation connecting with ERP systems like SAP, Ms Dynamics, Oracle etc.

We have to support 4 languages : Dutch, French, German and of course English.

We merely use a grid- and a chart module to present the data to our customers. In these modules we solved the multilingual problem ourselves by translation f.e. the grid column headers on runtime.

For the tab headers and titles we use Eric's old Apollo stuff:  very powerful yet a bit buggy and killing for your sql server processes.

Will DNN create a tab localization functionality apollo style  (by adding a tablocalization table and introduce it in the skin classes)  in the near future ? If not I really want to under scribe to importance of such a functionality for companies like ours, building professional business software for multi-nationals. Maybe you only have to make it available in the PE and EE versions of DNN.

We would be happy to help/advise or contribute otherwise in this process.

Kind regards,

Martijn Goedings
CO-Founder www.vendorlink.nl

ps. Loved the DNNWorld2012 by the way.
