Sadly this is not possible. THe only way to do it is to disable Content Localization, change the default language, and then re-enable Content Localization. Sadly you would lose all your translations.

The reason this works is that when CL is enabled, a lot of relationships are created between the default language and the translated language. Currently the API does not offer a way to go through the site and change those relationships (it is a very non trivial task to do that, even if you wanted to do this in the database)

Dear Erik

Thank you for your Powerful answer. It was very clear and complete. so it was not good news for me... but, I never forgot this :D

But I have another Question, One of My Portals, When I changed host Password, some error coming and password not changed, but after that We can not Edit any thing in any page in DNN 7.2.0 and Even I am login buy host user, When I start to Edit content for example, or setting page or module or any other admin tasks... one Pop-up windows will come to Authentication me again and I should enter host + pass and when I enter my user/pass again this pop-up come back and again and again and It is not possible to work. this website is not can use.

I upgrade to 7.2.1 there is no changes and it was problem in authentication. I make Admin and another Host User and I login with those two new accounts, but same mistake and problem happen.

What is problem? how can Solve it?

I'm thank you very much before, for your answer

Wonderful thing happen for Multilingual DotNetNuke Portal Release 7.2.1 when I upgrade it to DNN 7.2.2 !!!

I had two websites www.setluxury.com and www.mahidesignco.com with Two Languages English-Farsi with Farsi Language as a Default Language. I could not make English as a default language.

After Upgrade you can go to websites and see whats happen!!!   The Title and Contents are for Farsi Language and the Menu Items changed to English Language!!!!  This is big Mistake and Bug from DNN and should be Fix. It's very bad looking. I think after Upgrade the default changes from Farsi to English but Content and Titles are same before Farsi Language!

I could not fix it manually and need to fix in Next Release of DNN (7.2.3)...

please look at both website...  Menu are English, Logo also is English, but Title and content are Farsi, Before All items was Farsi. Do you have any Idea about this?
