Hi, we are now on 7.3.1 and want to change from humanfriendly to advanced url.

as soon as we change in web.config the url parameter is gone and page names should be unique for each language
else dnn looses language choice of user and switches. This problem is only with page names that are the same for the 2 languages.

We want to keep the en-US and nl-NL in the url to overcome this problem. But suprise the checkbox with language settings for this is not there. It is in other installations but here is it not there.

Anyone? I have db access so if this can be done via database fine.

Also, is there an option to keep the default language without the parameter in the url and only the others with?
How would one do that?

Maybe important. en-US is system default but nl-NL is the site default!

Thanx Sander

Sander,
for using Advanced URLs you need to specify a website alias in Admin > Site Setting for each language and make it primary.
This will replace the language parameter.

you may have different aliases like www.mydomain.com and www.mydomain.de or de.mydomain.com or mydomain.com/en and mydomain.com/de
