Hi,

I have a client that wants to take advantage of the localization feature of DNN to add three more languages to their US English based site. After watching a few videos and reading a bit, I think I have the jist of the process. But a couple of questions:

1. I did see that when the site is set to allow localization (and the appropriate language pack installed), DNN will "clone" all of the active pages with the nationality appended to the page name. And then you go through and revise the pages with translations as needed. But, what happens later when new pages are created -- are page clones in the non-default language created automatically or would that now be a manual process?

2. Are the clone page(s) deleted if the primary page is deleted?

3. When someone from an alternate language region visits the website will the correct language be displayed or does the visitor have to click the appropriate flag?

Thanks!

ad 1. yes, pages are created automatically and Editors have to follow the workflow to make translated Version visible to the public.
ad 2. yes, but vv. will not delete the original language if you delete translation
ad 3. there is browser language detection implemented to display the best matching language (using Website Default language as fallback). It requires site aliases to be configured properly.
