Hello Friends,

I have enabled the translations on my site. Currently the two languages (English - Spanish) work properly. However, when I activate the option "Allow users to choose the language of the interface?" this is stored in database correctly as true, but when the page is loaded the option is not checked, it seems that the parameter AllowUserUICulture were stored in some persistent memory as false, it seems that the instance "PortalSettings" is blocked or cached.

I would appreciate any help.

Greetings.

the option "Allow users to choose the language of the interface?" adds a second language selector to the control panel (if supported by the control panel used), to allow switching UI language separately from content language, e.g. for admins, who are asked to fill in translated content into a language, they don't understand and would not be able to even click the right buttons.
This setting does not affect default language selector, which is automatically displayed, if there are multiple active languages for the website.

Sebastian Leupold

Hello,

thanks for the reply.

as you can see, although I have enabled the translations, language selector does not appear in the control panel. Both Spanish and English languages are up and running, but the selector does not recognize the languages.

language selector Needs to be incorporated in the Skin - did you try DNN Default Skin on a page, whether it Displays the language selector?
