On my multilanguage website (Italian(default),English,Francais) I'm no more able to update page settings from page management for default language! If I open page settings with right click from page management tab it give me 404 with default language and open home page for other laguages.

If I open page settings from the page view it work fine for all languages but in this way I'm no more able to change page settings for the pages with link setted to url in page settings.

I notice to you that on my website I've enabled localized content and translated all pages.

Any help about?

AFAIR this has already been reported on Support.dnnsoftware.com - though I am not sure, whether it has been fixed for DNN 7.4.2

the team of DNN will never be able to run the localization without problems?

I really appreciate the wonderful work done by the team of DNN and I'm grateful, but because of these problems DNN is a framework that can be used only by people with very good knowledge of the framework

I've reproduced partially the issue and it seem not only problem of localization, below the steps to reproduce:

  • New install of DNN 7.4.0 Italian WebSite on local alias like www.test.it

  • Upgrade to DNN 7.4.1

This two steps are sufficient to stop page settings update command from admin>pages management tab

The others issues for localization may be linked to this

Also I notice to you that after enabled localization and translated content for english language I'm able to update page settings from admin>pages management tab when I'm on english language selected, when I select default Italian language it stop to work!

I've reported it on atlassian!
