I have a website that has 2 languages: English and Dutch.

The home pages are: http://www.startready.com/nl-nl/home and http://www.startready.com/en-us/Homepage.

When a user enters the site (http://www.startready.com/) he gets redirected depending on the browser language:

http://www.startready.com/nl-nl/ (Dutch) => no problem

http://www.startready.com/en-us/ (Half Dutch/ half English) => there's the problem

Does anybody know where I can solve this?
Any help is appreciated.

Best regards,
Bob Groenewoud

did you translate all modules on the page and mark it as "translated" (in page settings)?

Hello Seabstian,

Thank you for your reply.
Yes all modules on the page are translated.

Could it be caused by routing?
I cannot give both language versions the same name (home vs homepage), but for the automatic redirect they point to a "default page" (http://www.startready.com/nl-nl/ vs http://www.startready.com/en-us/)

Best regards,
Bob Groenewoud

Hello,

May I ask what DNN version you are using? I remember a similar problem in DNN6 concerning the language detection which had stopped me from using it as a feature since then.
If I were you, I'd try to remove the language extension from the url to check how that goes. Also, how do you set up the portal aliases? Is it possible to provide a screenshot?

Note: I'm just pointing out what further tests I'd do if I were you, doesn't mean it will work.

Hello Skoubri,
We are using version 08.00.04 (226)

It is an upgrade from version 7.4

Best regards,
Bob
