We’re experiencing some strangeness on some DNN 7.3.2 sites and I’m wondering if it’s something others have a fix for.  The issue pertains to the localization feature.  Specifically, there are times when a particular module on our English (default language) login page gets switched to showing the equivalent module from the login page of another language we have enabled on the site (e.g. Spanish or Japanese).  What exactly triggers this issue is unclear.  I have not been able to figure out any sort of pattern when this happens.  It seems to happen at random times and it only happens on the login page.  The steps to “switch it back” are pretty simple, but that’s only a temporary solution (that needs to be redone each time it happens) and I’d like to fix the issue once and for all.

Here are the steps to put things back to normal…

  1. Log into the site as an Admin.

  2. Navigate to Admin > Languages area.

  3. Click the Content Localization tab.

  4. Select the Login tab.

  5. Click the Update button, and its back to normal.

When the issue occurs, some of the modules on Content Localization page will have their “Translated” checkboxes unchecked.  Clicking the Update button seems to recheck them and put things back to normal.

Any thoughts and/or assistance folks have is appreciated.

Hello,
This reminds me of something but I'm not sure this is the same case.. May I ask for some additional information?
1. The login page is a custom page and not the DNN default. Right?
2. This module exists only in the login pages, only once in every language? Or is the module added on other pages as well? Either via the display on all pages feature or the add existing module.
3. Is this a text/html module or something else?
