please make sure, that the text is not set as skin object option directly in the skin you use (in .aspx file or skin.xml), these texts are still used as legacy support but should be avoided to allow localization.

Speed up your DNN Websites with TurboDNN

Looking at the position of the strings "Search" and "Go", my guess is you are dealing with a SearchInput module. The way to confirm that is to right click your mouse over the "Search" string and check if the popup menu offers an option to "Save the image".

If "Search" and "Go" are images, then the way to translate those is:

1. Open the \images folder of your Dnn installation. Inside that folder you will find two Gif files: "Search.gif" and "Search_Go.gif".
2. Edit (with a graphic editor) those files and make their pixels say "Buscar" and "Ir" in whatever color you choose :-)
3. Save them as new files: "Buscar.gif" and "Buscar_Ir.gif".
4. Open the file "SearchInput.ascx.es-ES.resx" located inside the \Admin\Search\App_LocalResources directory (Note: es-ES may be different for your locale, you may find es-MX or es-AR or something else in the file name).
5. Inside that file look for the resource keys "imgSearch.ImageUrl" and "imgGo.ImageUrl". Change their values to the new image file names (i.e: "~/images/buscar.gif")
6. Save the file, go back to the browser and press Ctrl+F5.
7. Come back to the forum and report your results! ;-)

PS: I do not recomend to graphic-edit the original images and leaving the resx files as they are. The reason is simple: an english-speaker visitor to your site will wonder what those buttons are used for... ;-)

PS2: Unfortunately there is no way to add those localized gifs to a language pack. At least that I know of.
