Hi Everyone,

I just started looking at the help module as a solution to make available and to maintain a large "section divided" document... I think that it could work, if I use Categories and Sub Categories for each section in the document...

But it must be possible to print the whole document in its completeness, ie not manually print each of the totorials...

Can this be done using the Help Module... Or does someone have another solution that they would advice me to look at ?

I might decide to look into MadCap Flare (www.madcapsoftware.com), but I don't think that it will integrate transparently to my DotNetNuke site...

Regards

Jakob

You can export it all as XML and then apply a XSL style sheet to create HTML from it and print it.

Hi Philip,

Thanks for this advice... I beleive I will be able to make this work...

When I tried to Export to XML from the Category Browser module, I got an error, but when I did it on the Tutorial Viewer, it worked fine... What's the reason for this ?

Would you happen to have a working XSLT description that does what you suggest ?

Regards

Jakob

I had an Employee Manual on a web site that I wanted to break down into sections but also give an option to print the entire manual.

I used the Efficion Articles module to accomplish this.  Unfortunately, it looks like that module is dead and I did have to do some extensive tweaking to the underlying code.

The Ventrian News Articles module might work for you.  It's still being developed and is very reasonbly priced.
