I have now completed the Test Driven Template for new DNN modules which allows me to write unit tests for DNN modules and thus properly test any code written.  Now that this is done I will be starting the new Help module and rewriting it from the ground up fully unit tested.  Our first release will contain the current feature set at and some new features.  I will be looking for testers to use the DNN Test Module to run functional tests on the release, if you would like to be a tester please post here and Ill set you up.

I started last night.  I now have a skeletong project setup with the associated test project ready to go.  There is now a team of 3 devs that will buiold the module and also write unit tests and automation tests.  Got a long weekend this weekend in Melbourne so should get a fair bit done.

Cheers

Is TDT for new DNN modules intended for DNN 5 and above only? Or for those of us who do not yet have access to DNN 5, is it backward compatible?

Were you looking for testers for the new Help Module or for the Test Driven Template? Is the latter intended for distribution as a core module or core utility to be distributed with DNN 5?

Regardless, if you need testers, I'm happy to oblige. Does DNN "etiquette" allow for testers to comment on the code? Or merely report problems/bugs?

The template I built relies on Cambrian and is not backward compatible as we made several changes to the core to get it to work.  We always need testers :)  So when the next version is getting close to ready ill be asking for support.  Should be about 8 weeks i reckon to rewrite it.
