Hi all,

We are planning on moving our sites over to DNN and am looking for a way to replace our current Online Help platform (Robohelp) with a DNN module that can be setup the same way. We would like it to be customizable (in terms of theme and image upload) and make it easy for our technical writers to port over all of the data.

Here is an example of how Robohelp works: Click for Online Help Sample

Does such a module already exist in DNN?

Thanks in advance for any insight provided.

I don't know of one. I think DNN itself decided to use an external system for Documentation recently, instead of using a module in DNN for it.

Your best bet might be an Article system that you may have to customize to provide the ability to have a navigable list on the left.

Andrei,

the original Help module still exists on Codeplex, but it has not been updated for years (last release in June 2008). I don't know if it still works, but maybe it's worth a try. It is not marked as outdated or moved to GitHub.

I used ZLDNN Help Desk a while ago, there is a knowledge base included, and it seems that this one is better maintained than the other one.

Happy DNNing!
Michael
