It seems that DNN has a minimum password length of 4 characters for a registering new user.  Unfortunately, this is not stated anywhere on the registration page, and you can have users that will pound away at the registration screen, and the most explicit error message they receive is "The password specified is invalid. Please specify a valid password."  And yes, there are people that try to use passwords of less than 4 characters.  Should the help for the password say something like "Choose a Password (minimum 4 characters)"?

The minimum password length is actually a value that is settable in the web.config (along with a number of other security parameters).  The minimum password length of 4 is simply a default.  But changing that help text is probably a good idea.  Could you enter this in our public issue log as an enhancement suggestion?

Thank you!
