Mike & All ~

We would like to be able to include any necessary core updates in the next incremental release (a small one, but hopefully VERY soon).  However, we must rely on all of you to provide this fix as we are not configured to stress these changes the way that you are.  We are NOT asking for enhancements at this time... the longer range enhancements are in progress and will probably have to wait until the provider is truly separated.  But... we sure would like to have this running for you all without some of the issues that we are hearing.

Please feel free to post here and/or email specific fix suggestions.  I realize this is short notice... but believe there are some of you that already know what needs to be done!

Cheers

Thanks Scott.

For everyone else, I could really use some help in tracking this down as we're in a time crunch (the more eyes looking at a problem etc, etc.). So if you are able to setup mutliple DNN installs and use Visual Studio to step through the source code it would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me @ mhorton@telus.net to let me know.

Good to hear that this issue has reached the ears of the core team!  I've been fighting with this issue for two months now, and thought I was the only one experiencing it until a couple of weeks ago...

It reached the ears of the core team quite awhile ago but it didn't become apparent how widespread the problem was until the last week or so.

I also need some more information from those having problems. What upgrade path did you take (ie: as close as possible can you give me which versions you've been running (4.4.0->4.4.1->4.5.0->4.5.1) etc.) and have you always upgraded using the install version or the upgrade version. I had the problem recreated late last week but had to go out of town and now I can't get it to recreate with a fresh 4.5.0 working source install to a 4.5.1 source upgrade.
