Hi,

I'm still on DNN 4.0.3. We use Windows authentication (ADSIAuthenticationProvider) successfully, but the user's firstname and lastname are imported as blank values. The email address is created as loginname + domainname, which is not correct.

We also use the L-Space Design LDAP Listing module, and this gets the correct user info from AD, so I can see that the AD info is available. Is there anything I must do to get it to import the correct email address and contact info?

Thanks

Rozanne

Hi Rozanne

It's going to take some code changes and a recompile of DNN to work properly I think. I was going to suggest downloading the DNN AD Fix from my site but I just looked and the earliest I've got is DNN 4.3.5. Is there a driving reason not to upgrade to a newer version? Besides being able to get AD to work there's some security fixes that really should be in place (I can't remember them all but I think Cathal blogged about them.).
