I recently upgraded a 4.5.5 portal to 4.6.2.  I've installed the new AD provider and domain users can manually log in.  The portal is also available publically.  The problem is - The first time anonymous users hit the portal they are being redirected to the /DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WidnowsSignin.aspx page which they don't have access to.  After getting the "You are not authorized to view this page" message, Anonymous users can go back to the intended destination and are NOT redirected to the WindowsSignin.aspx page.  It works fine after the first hit.

Any idea what would cause that?

Can you give an estimate of when the source for the provider will be available?

Thanks!

Dave

Comment out  <add name="Authentication" type="DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule, DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory" /> in your web.config. That'll stop the site from being automatically redirected to windowssignin.aspx.
