Hi, I am developing a website using DNN 4.7. I have added a web deployment project to my DNN application. When I try to build the deployment project with merge to single assembly, I get an error that "Suplicate type DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Authentication.Login". I checked the code and The same class exists in 2 placec - Website\DesktopModules\AuthenticationServices\DNN\Login.ascx.vb and Website\admin\Authentication\Login.ascx.vb. Is this intended? If yes, is there a way to overcome this issue? Thanks in advance Arun

Yes it is. Admin\Authentication\Login is the wrapper for all of the provider logins while DesktopModules\AuthenticationServices\DNN\Login is the actual code for the DNN login provider.

I've never tried to merge DNN into a single assembly and, to my knowledge, the code isn't intended to ever be merged into a single assembly. What happens when you want to update one module? Do you have to merge it back into a single assembly everytime you update a single module? I'm pleading ignorance on this as I've never looked into it personally and don't know how it would be more advantageous to do so.
